Dr. Burroughs's research program and teaching interests focus on the preparation and professional development of secondary mathematics teachers. Her primary research interests include making connections between the mathematics pre-service teachers study as undergraduates and the mathematics they will teach to school students and developing courses appropriate for pre-service mathematics teacher preparation programs.
