Glenn D. Allinger, (Retired 1997), Professor Emeritus of Mathematics Education, mathematics education;

Professor Allinger's research and inservice interests included the process of change in teacher beliefs with respect to mathematics content and pedagogy, particularly as impacted by integrated mathematics, technology, cooperative learning and alternative forms of assessment. He had published in SIAM Journal of Numerical Analysis, Mathematics Teacher, Two Year College Mathematics Journal, School Science and Mathematics and Arithmetic Teacher. He has also served on the editorial board for the Two Year College Mathematics Journal, and as co-editor of "Viewing and Reviewing-Computer Materials" for the Arithmetic Teacher journal. He was also co-director of Professional Development for the NSF funded Systemic Initiative for Montana Mathematics and Science (SIMMS).
