Professor Bogar's main area of research was numerical differential and
integral equations, boundary value problems, polynomial and sinc
approximations. His research articles were published in various
journals including
SIAM Journal of Mathematical Analysis,
SIAM Journal on Numerical Analysis,
Transactions of the American Mathematical Society,
Journal of Differential Equations, and
Journal of Approximation Theory.
