Preparing CAS Files

CCP modules should support Mathematica, Maple, MathCad, and the TI-92 -- that is, they should contain versions of CAS files for all four computer algebra systems. At present most of the modules only have files for the TI-92, Maple, and Mathematica. We plan to add MathCad files in the near future. If you are writing material to be included in CCP then you must prepare at least one CAS file. We can write corresponding files for the other CAS systems. However, if you have one or more of the other systems, it would save us time and probably improve the final product if you did some of the conversions.

Maple, Mathematica, and MathCad files cause the browser to launch the appropriate CAS system with the given file. TI-92 files are different. They are ordinary HTML files and should be opened in a new browser window.

The picture below shows the CAS choices as they appear in the navigational frame for a typical module.
