Uploading Data from the TI-82

Data is stored within the TI-82 in the form of lists that can be analyzed on the TI-82 or that can be uploaded to your IBM compatible or Macintosh computer for analysis. The basic procedure for uploading data from the TI-82 to your computer is simple.
  • If the TI-82 Graph Link program is not running on your computer then load it by clicking here. Make sure that the TI-Graph Link program is your active program. Select To Individual Files from the RECEIVE menu.

  • The TI-Graph Link cable should be connected to your computer. Connect the other end to the linking port at the bottom of your calculator.

  • Now turn your calculator on and press 2-nd LINK . You should see the screen at the right

  • Using the cursor keys arrow left to highlight SEND.

    Using the cursor keys arrow down to highlight SelectAll-.

    Press ENTER. You should see a display similar to the one at the right.

  • Using the cursor keys arrow down until the arrow on the left side of the screen points at the first list that you want to upload to your computer. The screen should look similar to the one at the right.

  • Next press ENTER to select this list and then arrow right to highlight TRANSMIT. The screen should be similar to the one at the right.

  • Now press ENTER. The TI-82 screen should be similar to the one at the right.
