Uploading Data from the TI-85

Data is stored within the TI-85 in the form of lists that can be analyzed on the TI-85 or that can be uploaded to your IBM compatible or Macintosh computer for analysis. The basic procedure for uploading data from the TI-85 to your computer is simple.
  • If the TI-85 Graph Link program is not running on your computer then load it by clicking here. Make sure that the TI-Graph Link program is your active program. Select To Individual Files from the RECEIVE menu.

  • The TI-Graph Link cable should be connected to your computer. Connect the other end to the linking port at the bottom of your calculator.

  • Now turn your calculator on and press 2-nd LINK . You should see the screen at the right.

  • Press the menu key under SEND. You should see a display similar to the one below.

  • Press MORE. The screen should look similar to the one at the right.

  • Press the menu key under LIST. The screen should be similar to the one at the right.

  • Use the cursor keys to arrow down until the arrow on the left side of the display is next to the list that you want to upload to your computer.

  • Press the menu key under SELCT and then the menu key under XMIT. The TI-85 screen should be similar to the one at the right.
