This module is essentially theoretical -- we are interested in theorems -- but we are interested in theorems for what they tell us about individual models. Thus, you may want to experiment with several different models using the usual TI-92 tools to verify that the predictions made by the theorems are correct. Logistic models are good models to experiment with because it is easy to compute the appropriate derivatives.
You may want to look at the TI-92 help modules on Making Tables for Sequences and Graphing Sequences for help on making tables of values for sequences and making graphs of sequences defined in this way. You may also want to review the TI-92 file for the previous module for help on cobweb diagrams.
The TI-92 has the ability to handle sums, including geometric series, very neatly. The screen below illustrates this facility.
