The TI-92 program, roulette, below is designed to simulate 100 "plays" of the timid strategy and keep track of how many times it is successful and the timid player leaves with $10.00 and how many times it is unsuccessful and the timid player leaves with empty pockets. You can download this program from this computer in the usual way if you have the TI-Graph Link92 program and cable, or you can obtain it by linking to another TI-92 that has the program or as a last resort you can type it in.
Run the program by typing roulette() and then pressing ENTER in the home screen. You can use this program as it stands to help answer the first question in your browser window -- how likely are you to win playing the timid strategy? You will need to modify this program to answer the other questions. This program requires several minutes to run.
