Summer Campus Courses
The MSMME summer on-campus courses are offered during a three-week
Summer Institute. Because of the concentrated nature of the on-campus
summer coursework, students may complete no more
than 7 on-campus credits during the Institute (students may opt to
enroll in a longer summer distance course, which would allow them to earn the
maximum of 10 credit hours during the summer). All MSMME students
are required to be on-campus for one three-week Institute. Many
students opt to live on campus during the Summer Institute. This results in a lively community of
mathematics teachers on campus each summer, who often continue their
collaborations throughout the school year using the Internet.
The following courses are regularly taught as on-campus courses
during the Summer Institute. A more complete description of each
course is provided on the Curriculum web page.
