A Bit More

Ok, by now you are wondering what else could there be, well....

<pre> ... </pre>

This is the PREFORMATTED text block tag. Any text between these two tags will look as you have typed it. It is rendered in a monospaced font, with all break lines and blanks retained. For example:
<pre>The quick brown fox

jumped over the black cow.</pre>

will look like

The quick brown fox

jumped over the black cow.

 ...

To create a superscript text, like those used in formulas use this tag.

For example:

E = mc<sup>2</sup> which looks like this: E = mc2

 ...
The preceding tag is used for superscript text. Both the sup and sub tags are Netscape extensions

<blink> ... </blink>

Web pages that have the text flashing on and off are initiated by this tag.
Getting mail from your Web page
The following tag is what you use to get e-mail from your Web page:
<a href="mailto:your login e-mail address"> ... </a>

For example with my login:

<a href="mailto:umsfjdoc.math.montana.edu">your login here</a>
