On-Campus Courses
Summer Courses
The MSMME Summer On-Campus courses are offered during a three-week Summer
Institute. Because of the concentrated
nature of the on-campus summer coursework, it is recommended that students complete
no more than 7 on-campus credits during the Institute (students may opt to
enroll in a summer distance course, which would allow them to earn the
maximum of 10 credit hours during the summer). All
MSMME students are required to be on-campus for one three-week Institute. Many students opt to spend the three
weeks on campus in campus housing during the Institute. This results in a lively community of
mathematics teachers on campus each summer, who often continue their
collaborations throughout the school year using the Internet. All MSMME
students are given accounts and can use the campus computer facilities to
gain access to these courses.
The following courses are regularly taught as on-campus courses during the
Summer Institute.

Academic Year Courses On-Campus
Students who are on campus during the academic year can apply up to 12
credit hours from the following block of courses toward their MSMME degree.
