Professor Gedeon's interests lie in applied dynamical systems, mathematical and systems biology, and topological data analysis. He collaborates with colleagues in plant biology, molecular biology, immunology, neuroscience, and chemical engineering on development of mathematical models of complex biological systems. His research has been consistently supported by NSF, NIH and DARPA over the last decade. He has published papers in Memoirs of American Mathematical Society, Proceedings of AMS, SIAM Journal of Mathematical Analysis, Journal of Differential Equations, Journal of Dynamics and Differential Equations Physica D, Neural Networks, Neurocomputing and others.
Professor Gedeon is part of IGERT supported multidisciplinary graduate program at MSU.
