This class requires a lot of work. Class time is limited and we cannot cover everything in class. Assignments include reading the section and learning everything in the section, including those parts not covered in class, as well as doing the homework.  This will take, on average, about 2 hours outside of class for each class.  It is most effective to  learn by reading and studying the text and your notes for about an hour (as soon after class as possible--right away is best) and then doing your homework in an hour.  You are responsible for everything in the text, whether or not it was covered in class.

Exam III is Thursday, November, 19 at 6:00 pm and the final exam is Wednesday, December 16, 6:00-7:50 pm. The final is comprehensive. You must demonstrate that you remember everything!
