Learning Center - MLC (Wil 1-112)
The
Department of Mathematical Sciences manages a free drop-in tutoring center
open Fall, Spring and Summer Sessions. This Math Learning
Center provides tutoring services only for first year multi-section MATH courses
(M1xx) and STAT 216.
Fall and Spring Semester
Math Learning Center Hours:
8:30am - 5:00pm Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday
8:30am - 8:00pm Wednesday
8:30am - 2:00pm Friday
Student Use:
A valid Cat Card is REQUIRED for admittance.
All students currently enrolled in an appropriate math course are
encouraged to use the Math Learning Center (MLC).
Staffing:
General course assistance is provided by course instructors from
9:00am - 2:00pm Monday through Friday. In addition, each semester a
schedule of specific instructors, by course, is posted on the door of
the MLC.
STAT 216 instructors primarily staff the MLC on Mondays and
Thursdays.
Outside of the 9:00am - 2:00pm hours, the MLC is staffed by well
trained undergraduate tutors.
Summer Semester
Math Learning Center Hours:
8:30am - 11:30am Monday through Thursday
