Math Learning Center - MLC (Wil 1-112)


The Department of Mathematical Sciences manages a free drop-in tutoring center open Fall, Spring and Summer Sessions. This  Math Learning Center provides tutoring services only for first year multi-section MATH courses (M1xx) and STAT 216.


Fall and Spring Semester

Math Learning Center Hours:
  • 8:30am - 5:00pm Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday
  • 8:30am - 8:00pm Wednesday
  • 8:30am - 2:00pm Friday

    Student Use:
  • A valid Cat Card is REQUIRED for admittance.
  • All students currently enrolled in an appropriate math course are encouraged to use the Math Learning Center (MLC).

    Staffing:
  • General course assistance is provided by course instructors from 9:00am - 2:00pm Monday through Friday. In addition, each semester a schedule of specific instructors, by course, is posted on the door of the MLC.
  • STAT 216 instructors primarily staff the MLC on Mondays and Thursdays.
  • Outside of the 9:00am - 2:00pm hours, the MLC is staffed by well trained undergraduate tutors.


    Summer Semester

    Math Learning Center Hours:
  • 8:30am - 11:30am Monday through Thursday
