I am a PhD graduate of Montana State University located in Bozeman, Montana. I received my doctorate in Statistics (with a minor (a very major minor!) in Mathematics) in August of 2004. My dissertation is entitled "Robust Methods for Multivariate Linear Models with Spectral Models for Scatter Matrices". Recently, in May 2005, I returned to Bozeman to attend commencement. It was great!
I am now at Brigham Young University - Hawaii located in the town of Laie on the island of Oahu. My new website is here.
I've written a tutorial for use at the math department at MSU. This tutorial teaches how to connect to gauss from home (through a firewall, if need be) and use SAS, Matlab, Maple, Splus, and any other graphical Unix program. It uses the programs VNC and SSH to initiate a secure connection between home and school. The tutorial is here.
You can also use WinSCP to copy files between home and school. No need for floppy disks any more!
I also have a collection of Pac-man patterns. It is essentially a reproduction of this, but I changed the names of the "fruits" to what I think they look like, and a few other changes. It is reproduced in case the other site disappears.
