Stat 408 R setup
R is installed on the machines in the PCs in Reid & Roberts student
labs. Just log in and find R in "All Programs" or in a desktop
folder.
In the math sciences department, you can run R on our newton
machine.
You should also install R on your own computer.
- Go to the cran website.
Pick your operating system: Linux, Mac or Windows and follow the
directions to install.
- Install Rstudio
from Rstudio.org. This interface to
R helps us with
organization.
