Course DescriptionThis is the second semester of Introduction to Numerical Analysis. Topics include: interpolation and approximation, numerical differentiation, numerical integration, numerical solution of initial value ode, numerical solution of boundary value ode. There will be a heavy emphasis on actual computing using the software package Matlab.Important DatesEXAM 1 TBA Spring Break Holiday March 10 - March 14 Last day of class on Thursday, May 2 Grading and EvaluationFinal grades will be evaluated according to the following weighting: homework 60%, 2 midterms 20% each.
