Course Description

This is the second semester of Introduction to Numerical Analysis. Topics include: interpolation and approximation, numerical differentiation, numerical integration, numerical solution of initial value ode, numerical solution of boundary value ode. There will be a heavy emphasis on actual computing using the software package Matlab.

Grading and Evaluation

Final grades will be evaluated according to the following weighting: homework 60%, 2 midterms 20% each. Late homework will not be accepted without a prior arranged extension.
