Hello from sunny Florida, land of liquid sunshine:). My name is Stephanie Stevenson. I teach Stevenson's Stars (fifth grade students) at Holley-Navarre Intermediate School in Navarre, Florida. Navarre is in Northwest Florida near Pensacola. I am the Intermediate Level (Intermediate Grades) team leader for the Network Montana K-12 Earth Systems Project.

Our classroom has a variety of technological tools. We have five IBM computers on a baseband Novell Network. We have a mix of MACs and IBM's on an Ethernet Network with a 56k line to the web. We just got that connection and hope to have a home page this year. Our favorite computer is our weather satellite computer. It is attached to our satellite dish on the roof above our classroom. We receive live GOES images all day long. We pick the "Image of the Day" to go on our weather image calendar. We also go outside to ground truth our images. Our class is the weather team for our school's ITV morning show.
