Black Holes and Entropy

I will give a mathematical introduction to general relativity and black holes. In particular, how can one make sense of the idea that a black hole is so massive that not even light can escape from its gravity?!? If time allows, I will also discuss some quantities associated to black holes, e.g., angular momentum, entropy, mass.
